Outstanding Master's Thesis recognized

We are proud to introduce Pouria Bacher, an outstanding graduate who completed his master's thesis at Columbia University in New York with the support of the Marshall Plan Scholarship. His work was so successful and innovative that it was nominated as the best and most innovative master's thesis among over 1,000 master's students at FH Technikum Wien in 2023.

Pouria's research has gained international academic attention and was published in June 2024 in the prestigious "Public Transportation Journal" by Elsevier. His groundbreaking study focuses on the integration of subways and transport railways for parcel delivery in New York City. This is the first time in New York's history that such a concept has been researched. Pouria would like to express his heartfelt thanks to his supervisors, Dr. Jacqueline M Klopp, Dr. Maximilian Lackner, and Dr. Martina Ortbauer, as well as the director of FH Technikum, Mr. Mag. Florian Eckkrammer. Their support and dedication to the students have been instrumental in this success.
