Topic: Coupled Active Cavities Based on Quantum Cascade Lasers

I am currently working on a research project focused on coupled ring cavities based on active quantum cascade laser (QCL) material. This project explores the innovative design and behavior of ring cavities that are not only coupled in pairs but also form complex matrices. The objective is to study the interactions and collective properties of these ring matrices, with a focus on exploring coupled cavity effects and soliton dynamics. We aim to discover novel hybridized states that may emerge from these coupled cavities, potentially leading to breakthroughs in fields such as quantum simulation and optical computing.
Spending time in the Boston area has been an enriching experience, offering a vibrant blend of academic opportunities and cultural experiences that enhance my research journey.
