The Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation supports cooperation between Austria and the United States through research and teaching projects relating to the U.S. in economics and the social sciences. This may also include projects in other academic areas as long as they address problems of the social- and economic sciences. Ideally, projects focus on the following key areas:
• The future of industry as seen from a social science and economic perspective
• Work profiles of the future – dual education & apprenticeship
In this context, the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation invites applications for the following projects of scientific cooperation with the University of California, Berkeley for the academic year 2020/21, coordinated by the Institute of European Studies at UC Berkeley:

The timeframe for the stay at Berkeley can be chosen freely between September 2020 and June 2021. The Institute of European Studies will lend the necessary support on campus and will furnish office space to the best of its ability.
