Marshall Plan Book Talks

Dr. Hans Petschar (Director, Picture Archives, Austrian National Library) and Professor Günter Bischof (Director, Austrian Marshall Plan Center for European Studies, The University of New Orleans) talked about the Marshall Plan in Austria and their recent book, The Marshall Plan: Saving Europe, Rebuilding Austria on two recent occasions. 

The authors presented their book in a panel discussion with Ewald Hiebl and Norwegian Film historian Maria Fritsche in the old library of the University of Salzburg in the course of an international colloquium, Transformative Recovery? The European Recovery Program (ERP)/Marshall Plan in European Tourism on February 23, 2018. 

In addition, they also gave a presentation on the Marshall Plan at the U.S. Embassy’s Amerika Haus in Vienna, Austria on February 26, 2018.
